Prophetess Dr. Rachael Olufunke Fasola, affectionately known as Mama August Special, was born on July 21, 1953, in Kumasi, Ghana. She entered the world as the cherished daughter of Pa Phillip Adeniji ODUOLA and Madam Margaret Diekola Adeniji, who instilled in her the values of love, faith, and resilience.


Her educational journey began at St. Peters Anglican School in Inisha in 1963, where her passion for learning was ignited. She then continued her studies at Primary Bode-Ijaye Abeokuta in Ibadan, further nurturing her intellectual curiosity and personal growth. It was during this time that she developed a strong foundation in education and laid the groundwork for her future endeavors.

In her formative years, Mama August Special attended St. Augustine Secondary School in Inisha, where she thrived academically and honed her leadership skills. The school provided her with a nurturing environment that fostered her spiritual development, shaping her into the remarkable woman she is today.

In 1974, Dr. Rachael Fasola embarked on a new chapter in her life as she married her beloved husband, Pastor Amos Omolayo Fasola. The couple's union brought them to Kaduna, Nigeria, where they established a loving home and embarked on a shared journey of faith, service, and ministry.

Mama August Special's dedication to education led her to the Nigeria Teachers Institute in Kaduna, where she pursued her studies from 1982 to 1985. During this period, she acquired valuable knowledge and skills that would later enrich her career as an educator and mentor.

From 1975 to 1997, Mama R.O. Fasola devoted her time and expertise to the education sector. She served as a committed and passionate teacher at Shehu Abdullahi Nursery/Primary School on Ogbomosho Street in Kaduna. Her love for nurturing young minds and helping children discover their potential made her an invaluable asset to the school community.


In addition to her teaching career, Mama August Special ventured into the world of business, becoming a dedicated trader at Central Market in Kaduna. Her entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic enabled her to succeed in this endeavor, providing for her family while making a positive impact on the local economy.

Mama August Special's personal life blossomed as she was blessed with six children, who brought joy, love, and laughter into her home. Through her guidance and nurturing, she instilled in them the values of faith, integrity, and perseverance, setting them on their own paths of success and impacting generations to come.

Throughout her spiritual journey, Prophetess Fasola actively participated in various ministries, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to serving God and spreading His love. She was a cherished member of the Light of the World Outreach Unit, where her faith and devotion inspired others to walk in the light of God's truth.

Mama August Special's ministry began to take shape in the early 1980s when she became one of the founding members of the Children Sunday School Manualy Tundun Pawa in Kaduna State. Under the leadership of Pastor/Evang Adeleye, she played a significant role in developing the foundational curriculum for children's Sunday school, nurturing the spiritual growth of young hearts and minds.

Driven by her passion for spreading the gospel, she sought further theological education. She attended the School of End Time Ministerial Anointing, where she obtained a diploma in evangelism, equipping her with the tools and knowledge to effectively share the message of God's love and salvation.

In her quest for deeper spiritual understanding, Dr. Rachael Olufunke pursued studies at Bible University in Canada. Her dedication and thirst for knowledge culminated in the achievement of a Bachelor's degree in Ministry, strengthening her theological foundation and empowering her to impact lives through her teachings.

Seeking to expand her horizons, Mama August Special continued her theological studies at Christy International Divinity College, affiliated with Acadia University in Canada. These studies broadened her perspective, enriched her spiritual insights, and deepened her understanding of God's word.

Throughout her ministry, Dr. Mrs Fasola received guidance and mentorship from esteemed spiritual leaders, including the late Pastor Ajayi, the CAC Kaduna Coordinating Council Chairman, and Prophetess Oladipo. Their wisdom, guidance, and encouragement played a vital role in shaping her ministry and solidifying her calling.

An accomplished vocalist, Mama August Special actively participated in the choir of both the Anglican and CAC churches during her early years. Her melodious voice and passion for worship touched the hearts of congregations, creating an atmosphere of praise and reverence.

As her ministry continued to flourish, Mama R.O. Fasola founded the August Special program, initially a family retreat with only seven participants seeking breakthroughs and blessings. Today, the program has grown in size and significance, attracting delegates and guest ministers from America, Europe, and African countries. The August Special program has become a beacon of hope, transformation, and divine intervention, as evidenced by the countless testimonies of lives impacted and changed through God's grace.


Inspired by her unwavering faith and driven by her desire to create a sacred space for prayer and spiritual growth, she established CAC Goshen Land Prayer City in Trikania, Kaduna. This serene sanctuary has become a haven for individuals seeking solace, healing, and divine encounters with God.

Throughout her ministry, Mama August Special has been blessed with the support and guidance of notable figures such as Prophet David Olulana Babajide, the late Pastor E. A. Ajayi, Prophetess Christiana Omoleye Oladipo, the late Prophetess Emily Jojolola, Evang Mathew Owojaiye, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji (General Evang CAC Worldwide), and late Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere. Their mentorship, counsel, and prayers have been instrumental in shaping her spiritual journey and fostering growth in her ministry.

In addition to her ministerial pursuits, Dr Fasola assumed the role of President and Founder of August Special and CAC Goshen Land Prayer City. These roles allow her to lead and guide others on their spiritual journeys, imparting wisdom, hope, and the transformative power of God's love.

Beyond her ministerial endeavors, Mama August Special finds solace and joy in a few cherished hobbies. She remains an avid player of netball, relishing the camaraderie and the opportunity to stay physically active. She also finds pleasure in staying informed through listening to news, immersing herself in the melodies of music, and expanding her knowledge through reading books.

Prophetess Dr. Rachael Olufunke Fasola's life is an inspiring testament to the power of faith, resilience, and devotion. Her unwavering commitment to education, service, and ministry has left an indelible impact on the lives she has touched. Mama August Special's journey continues to inspire generations, reminding us of the transformative power of love, faith, and a steadfast belief in God's guiding hand.
