Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, popularly known as Pastor E.A. Adeboye, is a prominent Nigerian pastor and the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). He was born on March 2, 1942, in Ifewara, Osun State, Nigeria.

Pastor Adeboye's journey into the ministry began in the 1970s when he joined the RCCG as a member. His dedication, passion for the Gospel, and deep spirituality quickly caught the attention of the church leadership. In 1975, he became a pastor and later rose through the ranks, serving as the church's General Overseer in 1981, succeeding the founder, Pastor Josiah Akindayomi.
