BIOGRAPHY
OF DUNIA MWENDA DIVIN, PHD
Dr. Dunia Mwenda Divin
was born on the 20th day of October 1992 to the family of Laurent Mwenda as the
second son of the family.
He
was born and raised in Mbiwa, in South Kivu Province, in the Democratic Republic
of the Congo (DRC).
The heavenly father,
God, has blessed him and his wife, Eveline Bute Mulumi, with children. The dedication
of his wife to God greatly assists him in his pastoral, educational, and
missionary efforts to exalt the Creator God on earth.
EDUCATION
He holds a Doctor of
Ministry (2023) from Bible University, Missouri (US); a Doctor of Philosophy in
Christian Leadership (2022) from Bible University, Missouri (US); a Master of
Art in Theology and Bible (2021) from Worldwide Evangelical Seminary, Nova
Scotia (Canada); a Bachelor of Art in Biblical Studies & Community
Development Outreach (2019) from Nation to Nation Christian University, Texas
(US); a Diploma of Graduation in Advanced English & Bible (2020) from World
English Institute, Gresham (US); a Diploma in Theology and Missions (2018) from
Kakuma Interdenominational School of Missions, Kakuma (Kenya); a National
Higher Diploma in Medical Techniques and Nursing Sciences (2014) from Institut
Supérieur des Techniques Médicales de Bukavu (DRC); a National Diploma in
General Pedagogy (2011) from Mule Institut, South Kivu (DRC); and a Certificate
of Primary Education (2005) from Ecole Primaire de Kisimba (DRC).
RELIGIOUS/SPIRITUAL
BACKGROUND
Dr. Dunia Mwenda Divin
was born into a Christian family where the father has been serving as a
reverend pastor of churches and the mother as an evangelist and intercessor. He
was dedicated to the Lord after birth and joined Sunday school classes in the
early years of his life, where he was raised up to be the Sunday school
classes’ monitor in 2006, after his baptism by immersion. He was born with a
leadership talent that leads him to effective leadership today.
Furthermore, he is an
organizational leader with extensive experience managing and building
cross-cultural relationships. He designs educational programs and coaches
individuals. An exceptional ability to communicate with cross-functional teams
and make critical decisions under pressure. He is a leader who is adaptable,
transformational, and capable of working autonomously, effectively presenting,
and creating opportunities for the organization to succeed.
HOLDINGS IN
ORGANIZATIONS AND POSITIONS
First, he is the
regional director for Gospel Chariot Missions and Gospel Share Missions. He provides
in-person and online training for church planters and trainers in discipleship
multiplication, including leaders from the religious and nonreligious sectors.
Additionally, he oversees senior pastors, oversees Christian education, and
oversees the management of churches and regional ministry resources.
After that, he works as
a volunteer principal and lecturer for the Kakuma Refugee Camp Branch of the
Worldwide Evangelical Seminary. He coordinates research and education. Not only
that, but he also assists with professional and educational development and
helps with the general leadership of the school. Furthermore, he supports
educational and instructional tasks and organizes research and academic
resources.
Finally, he is a
volunteer Bible and English instructor at the World English Institute. In
addition to instructing students in English and Christian principles, skills,
and subjects, he also helps them build mature personalities capable of having a
positive impact on their environment, which is changing and dynamic to the
glory of the Creator God.
ASPIRATION
Dr. Dunia Mwenda Divin
makes an effort to show off his expertise as a trainer for discipleship
multiplication and his dedication to the fields of Christian higher education
and Christian organizational leadership. He wants to have the opportunity to
use his expertise in Christian leadership and Christian higher education to
mentor and teach both students and leaders in the religious and secular worlds. He aspires to have an
impact on Christian leadership and Christian higher education for the present
and future generations. Also, he aspires to advance scholarly research.
PUBLICATION
Dr. Dunia Mwenda Divin
is working on his first book, “How to Be a Great Leader: The Key Qualities of a
Great Leader.” He expects to publish this wonderful book very soon.
HOBBIES
Dr. Dunia Mwenda Divin
enjoys the following pastime pursuits: programming, data organization, writing,
reading, participating in community service, participating in local committee
work, studying foreign languages, and writing.
