PROF OLU MIKE OMOASEGUN RECEIVED THE BEST GLOBAL PRINCIPAL AWARD FROM INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP UNIVERSITY, INDIA/AUSTRALIA

On 3 September 2022, International Internship University (IIU) a leading virtual education system and global brand confederation, which is the most valuable & trusted worldwide founded by Dr. Peeyush Pandit of India honored Prof Mike Omoasegun with the Best Global Principal Award for his dedication & exemplary contribution towards worldwide education, on the occasion of Teachers Day, the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. 

The recipient, Prof Olu Mike Omoasegun 51 years old, an indigene of Okemesi Ekiti, Ekiti State South West Nigeria started his education career at St Paul African Church Primary School Okemesi Ekiti in 1976 and completed his secondary school at Okemesi Grammar School in 1987. He later learned about a business selling furniture materials and established his business in Osogbo Osun State. Omoasegun received the call to full-time ministry in 1998, and proceeded to Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary Ile-Ife for two years of theological and practical training and graduated with a Certificate of Theology in 2001. He was ordained and certified as a pastor in Christ Apostolic Church on 4th December, 2001.

Prof Mike got his undergraduate degree (Biblical Studies) in 2011 from Bible University Canada and his Master of Biblical Studies in 2012. Moreover, Dr. Mike Omoasegun holds triple PhDs include a Doctor of Biblical Studies in 2014, a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology from Beulah Bible College and Seminary, USA 2017, and a Ph.D. in Leadership and Management in 2018.

In the field of business, communication, writing, and publishing, Dr. Olu Mike has a Master in Business Administration from Academy European Open University Germany, Professional Diploma in International Marketing, Professional Diploma in International Business Management, Professional Certificate in Contents Marketing, Professional Certificate in Time Management Skills, Professional Certificate in Communication Methods, and Professional Certificate in Computer Graphics, all from Europe Open University Germany, Certificate in Communication Skills from International Business Management Institute Germany, and Diploma in Human Resources Management from Alison Institute.

Due to his amiable contributions and support towards the student online forum of Bible University Canada, Prof Mike Omoasegun appointed as Coordinator of the Discussion Online Forum of Bible University in 2010 -2016. Moreover, in 2011, the Board and management of Bible University appointed this erudite as the Bible University African Continent Representative and Contact. He received his first Professorship in 2012 as an associate Professor under the leadership of Prof Mitch King – founder and first president of Bible University Canada/USA. Two years later, Prof Mike wasconfirmed as a Professor of Master’s Programs at Bible University Canada. In this same year 2014, the University of Jerusalem appointed this visionary man of God as her Promotional Coordinator for Nigeria and its environment. On April 7, 2016, the founder and the board of Bible University announced and confirmed the appointment of Prof OLU MIKE OMOASEGUN as the president of Bible University Canada. In this position, he became the second President of Bible University and the first African to attain the position in the history of the school.

In his appreciation speech, Prof Olu Mike Omoasegun “thanks the Almighty God for giving him the opportunity to be among the recipient of this unique award. He expresses his gratitude to the founder and the management of International Internship University (Prof Dr. Peeyush Pandit) for this great award. He added that only the man of vision and commitment to serve humanity can remember a person like him to offer such honor unto him.”

With this award, Prof Mike Omoasegun has received a total number of 15 awards this 2022.
